📘 Watch Out – Explanation

Some verbs like: forget, remember, stop, try... change their meaning depending on whether they are followed by -ing or to.

Example with 'to':
I remembered to switch off the light.
(I remembered that I needed to do something)

Example with '-ing':
I remember switching off the light.
(I remember that I did it already)
