If a person, thing or situation is amazing, boring or exciting, we feel amazed, bored or excited:
I felt amazed when I saw that film. It was amazing.
1. I’m really bored. (Reworded: I find this situation very uninteresting.) BORE
2. You look worried. What’s the matter? WORRY
3. I think it’s really relaxing to have a long bath. (Reworded: Taking a long bath helps me unwind completely.) RELAX
4. I was amazed the first time I saw a film in 3D. (Reworded: It filled me with wonder.) AMAZE
7 SPEAKING In pairs, use the adjectives from Exercise 5 to talk about your feelings.
